World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic

World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims commemorated by Mother India Care on 15th November 2020 at 4.30 pm. On the world day, road users issues and possible solutions was discussed in the webinar by the dignitaries. The conferring of awards and the RIP Candle light ceremony was also a part of this grand virtual event.

Mother India Care is in the process of collecting data from all sources related to road users issues and preparing the decade action plan 2021-2030, with a comprehensive national project on road safety.

Mother India Care is going to implement its Decade of Action Plan on Road safety on 1st January 2021 with the ultimate goal of zero death and no serious injury in road crash India. Right now, Mother India Care is in the process of forming road safety advisory committee state wise on, road safety ambassadors, road safety leaders and road safety advisors across India.

In the grand virtual ceremony, the awards were conferred to few exceptional individuals for their distinguished and outstanding services to society and nation.

Many citizens have joined in the RIP candle light ceremony to pay a tribute to all those who died in road accidents and made a wish for a happy and safe decade ahead.

Mother India Care normally honour only two exceptional individuals for a highest award i.e. The Royal Award of Excellence and this year it was presented to Dr. Jyitsna Singh a psychologist from Mumbai. The best in India medal of honour was conferred to 7 years old girl Kiara Mittal from Mumbai.

Dr. Jyotsana Singh – Psychologist – honoured with the Royal Award of Excellence, Mr. Vishwanath Sharma Social Activist & world famous poet from Jaipur awarded with Life Time Achievement Award 2020, Ms Reshma Khan, Director All India Radio, Jaipur awarded, Mr.Sanjay Raut, Road Transport Officer Maharastra, Mr.Jitendra B Patil, Joint Commissioner, Transport Maharastra, Mr Gurunath Reddy, Banglore has been awarded
in various categories, in Children category Master Swayam Anil Sharma & Miss Mannatjot Kaur.
