Wrestler Sushil Kumar Demands TV in Tihar Jail

Olympic medalist wrestler Sushil Kumar, accused in the junior wrestler Sagar Dhankhar murder case, has now demanded the Tihar Jail administration to install a TV in his cell. Sushil Kumar has written an application to the Tihar Jail administration demanding that he is the only prisoner in the cell in which he is lodged, so he feels alone. Therefore, the facility of TV should be made available, so that he can also be aware of the information about what is going on in the wrestling game.

Tihar Jail DG Sandeep Goyal says that the jail administration has received an application from Sushil Pehalwan, in which he has demanded to install TV.

Jail administration says that Sushil Kumar is lodged in Jail number two and for security, he has been kept in High Security Jail. This is the reason that no other prisoner has been kept in the cell where Sushil is kept. So far no decision has been taken on the application of Sushil Kumar.

This is not the first demand of wrestler Sushil Kumar from the jail administration. Earlier, when Sushil Kumar was sent to Mandoli jail after his arrest, there also Sushil Kumar, referring to his wrestling, had demanded to provide the facility of high protein extra protein diet, which was rejected by the jail administration.

However, considering their high dietary intake, they need extra rotis and vegetables. She is provided to them like other prisoners. Because, some prisoners eat less food, then their food is also given to such prisoners many times. Whose dosage is slightly higher, so that food is not wasted. Sources say that due to lack of gym facilities inside the jail, he is holding penal meetings every day while staying in his cell in Tihar Jail like Mandoli Jail.

Wrestler Sushil Kumar, along with several of his teammates, had badly hit junior wrestler Sagar Dhankhar and his partner Sonu Mahal at Chhatrasal Stadium on the intervening night of May 4 and 5. Sagar Dhankhar was killed in this attack.
